Role Description
PureCyber is on a scaling journey after the £5 million investment less than two years ago from BGF and is now increasing the size and calibre of its go-to-market operations.
With our continued growth, we are investing further in our commercial capability and looking for an experienced Account Executive to join our team. This role is designed to strengthen our commercial function by taking ownership of new customer acquisition and managing the full sales cycle, from initial engagement through to close. Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, you will play a key role in driving sustainable revenue growth and expanding our customer base.
Key Responsibilities
- Leverage our service offering to build relationships with new customers, address their immediate pain points, and provide clarity around their specific cybersecurity needs.
- Work with our technical delivery teams in Governance, Defensive and Offensive cybersecurity to scope out the needs of our clients.
- Create proposals and quotes for customers and perform timely follow-up.
- Guide clients through a consultative sales process from an initial single point offering into a subscription and multi-service offering.
- Determine deal pricing using our pricing framework
- Input key product line items into HubSpot CRM to ensure that the delivery and project management teams have full visibility of the services sold.
- Flag inefficiencies and improvements that could be made to the sales process.
- Own your forecast by ensuring HubSpot deal stages are up to date.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of new business experience: you’ve been used to carrying a new business quota and signing £20-100k deals in the IT Services, MSP or Cybersecurity arena.
- Mid-Market to Large Companies sales experience: selling to companies with 250-750 employees.
- Worked for an SME under 50 employees: in the last three years, you’ve worked with a company with less than 50 employees and ideally been one of the first salespeople.
- Convert technical speak into plain English: you have a knack of making complex information into business-led and buyer-led conversations.
