If you’re considering a future in engineering, design, environmental or sustainability work, Ramboll invites you to apply for our Summer 2026 work experience programme. These one-week work experience opportunities will introduce you to a variety of roles and career paths within our industry, while providing a chance for you to explore related skills including computer analysis, problem solving and teamwork. You’ll also benefit from the experience, advice and guidance of a Ramboll mentor who will support you throughout your time here. About Ramboll Ramboll is a global engineering, design and consulting company with a mission to create sustainable societies where people and nature flourish. We’re developing solutions to some of the biggest challenges facing the world today – like how to accelerate the green energy transition, protect against biodiversity loss, decarbonise transport and the built environment, and create happier, healthier and more resilient communities. With 17 offices across the UK, our teams work on impactful, iconic and diverse projects, such as the Elizabeth Line station at Paddington, the Hope Sculpture in Glasgow, the British Antarctic Survey’s polar research station, and the restoration of natural habitats at the former Greenburn Surface Mine. Work Experience Details Ramboll runs four one-week work experience programmes in July. We may be able to consider work experience requests outside of these dates, but priority will be given to those available during the dates below. Work experience opportunities are unpaid, but we cover reasonable travel and lunch expenses. Week 1: 6th July - 10th July 2026 Week 2: 13th July - 17th July 2026 Week 3: 20th July - 24th July 2026 Week 4: 27th July – 31st July 2026 No previous experience is required, just an open mind and eagerness to learn.
