We’re working with a respected and values-led social care provider to recruit an Area Manager for their children’s services division within complex care. This is a fantastic opportunity for an area manager to work with a small team to lead and shape the organisation and services

The Role

• Oversee 6 services across the Northwest, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality, child-centred care.
• Lead, develop, and inspire long-serving, dedicated Registered Managers and their teams.
• Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations, safeguarding frameworks, and internal quality standards.
• Work closely with senior leadership to drive service improvements, achieve growth targets, and maintain excellent outcomes for children.
• Act as a key point of support and escalation for managers, ensuring stability and consistency across the region.

What We’re Looking For

• A strong background in children’s residential care, with proven experience managing within a regulated Ofsted setting.
• Experience as a Registered Manager, with readiness to step up into an Area Manager position.
• Excellent knowledge of Ofsted frameworks, safeguarding, and children’s sector legislation.
• An approachable, hands-on leadership style — able to inspire long-serving staff and nurture new talent.
• Organised, resilient, and confident, managing multiple priorities across several sites.
