Private Leakage Administrator

RPS are seeking an Administrator to join our Private Leakage Team based in Cardiff. This role is a hybrid position (Office based for 3 days), working 40hrs a week, Monday to Friday. What You’ll Be Doing

• Working with our customers and third parties to address customer side leakage (supply pipe and plumbing loss) – through the utilization of our statutory powers (Water Industry Act 1991).
• Managing a large volume of cases through the internal process.
• Investigating and advising on responsibility for land, property, and pipework through land registry searches and engagement (training provided).
• Drafting legal notices (pre-templated), and communicating directly with customers (phone, email, letter).
• Problem solving to ensure the method of resolution considers both the customer and business interest.
• Complaint responses
• Workload / work basket management
• Accurate logging of information and correspondence within corporate systems
• Drafting of internal communications around re-charging.

Who We’re Looking For

• Highly organized and self-motivated / driven.
• Experience in customer service / management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (minimum qualification of GCSE A-C English or Welsh).
• Problem solving, and the ability to identify more efficient ways of doing things.
• Confidence to have challenging conversations with customers and to deal with conflict.
• Ability to confidently communicate in Welsh.
• Willingness and ability to travel across our Operational area, with the occasional paid for over-night stay (where cases required).
• Good IT skills (standard Microsoft type packages).
