What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Developing, managing and reporting robust, integrated project and programme schedules
  • Embedding and championing SDO planning policies, standards and best practice
  • Proactively identifying, analysing and escalating Schedule risks, performance variances and change impacts
  • Monitor and audit supplier schedules for compliance with Severn Trent procedures, collaborating with suppliers to maintain and promote schedule quality
  • Work closely with delivery, commercial, and design teams throughout the full project lifecycle to ensure alignment, effective coordination, and successful outcomes.

WHAT WE'ER LOOKING FOR

  • Proven experience planning projects or programmes in a complex delivery environment
  • Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6 / Oracle Primavera Cloud and Microsoft Project
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office tools to communicate clearly and professionally
  • Awareness of NEC clauses relevant to schedule submissions, including Compensation Events
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills and the ability to build relationships with a diverse range of people
  • A proactive, forward‑thinking mindset with the confidence to make sound judgements in uncertain situations
  • Confidence in translating technical planning information into clear, meaningful insights for non‑planning stakeholders at all level
  • A genuine passion for planning as a discipline and for continuous improvement
  • Hold a full U.K driving licence
