Talent Acquisition Consultant – EMEA

Location: London HQ

Salary: Competitive, DOE

Hybrid Working: 3 days in-office/ 2 days work from home (Tuesday - core in-office day)

At Spencer Ogden, we're a global recruitment business specialising in the energy and infrastructure sectors. With over 250 employees across 10 offices spanning EMEA, APAC and the Americas, we've built a business that's large enough to offer structure, resources and career progression, while remaining agile enough for every individual to make a real impact.

We're looking for a Talent Acquisition Consultant to lead recruitment across our EMEA region. Reporting to the Head of Talent and working alongside a collaborative Talent team of three, you'll take full ownership of hiring across our London, Glasgow and Düsseldorf offices.

The Opportunity

This is more than a recruitment role. You'll act as a trusted partner to hiring managers across the region, driving recruitment strategy, identifying top talent, and influencing hiring decisions. You'll have a seat at the table, contributing to workforce planning, forecasting and broader talent initiatives that support business growth.

You'll also work closely with our Senior Talent Acquisition Lead in New York, providing support across our largest region and building relationships with stakeholders on a global scale.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment across the EMEA region, hiring into the sales function from Associate through to Senior level.
  • Proactively source and headhunt high-calibre talent.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including screening, interviewing, offer management and candidate closing.
  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers and senior stakeholders across multiple international offices.
  • Support new hires through the onboarding process, ensuring an outstanding candidate experience.
  • Manage relationships with external recruitment partners where required.
  • Contribute to operational Talent Acquisition activities, including recruitment forecasting, reporting and workforce planning.
  • Provide ad hoc support to the wider People team on talent-related initiatives.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment and enjoys building relationships, influencing stakeholders and finding exceptional talent.

You'll have:

At least 2 years' recruitment experience in one of the following:

  1. Internal Talent Acquisition within an agency recruitment business.
  2. 360 recruitment, with experience hiring and developing client and candidate relationships.
  3. Rec2Rec (Recruitment-to-Recruitment), with a strong understanding of the agency recruitment market.

  • A proven ability to identify, engage and secure high-quality talent.
  • Confidence building relationships with hiring managers and senior stakeholders across multiple regions.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to manage candidates and stakeholders throughout the hiring process.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the confidence to work independently while collaborating effectively with the wider Talent and People teams.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous exposure to US markets would be advantageous, but is not essential.

Why Join Spencer Ogden?

  • Own recruitment across an entire region with real autonomy.
  • Work directly with senior business leaders and influence hiring strategy.
  • Gain international exposure across EMEA and the US.
  • Be part of a supportive Talent team within a globally recognised business.
  • Join a company that combines the resources of a global organisation with the culture and agility of a growing business.

If you're ready to take the next step in your career and want to play a key role in shaping the growth of an international business, we'd love to hear from you.
