PURPOSE OF THE JOB To deliver and continuously improve the Manufacturing Engineering functional service by translating the engineering definition of a product into meaningful work instructions in order that the product can be manufactured in the most cost-efficient manner using effective manufacturing processes, resources, labour, tooling, equipment and facilities. ResponsibilitiesPRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIESThe Successful Candidate Will

  • Work with Engineering to ensure that manufacturing capabilities are reflected in the design of the product.
  • Determine the most suitable method of production and provide relevant tooling and manufacturing instructions, to support production schedules.
  • Work with Operations to resolve production problems and improve production manufacturing techniques with a specific focus on continuous improvement initiatives as part of a cross functional team.
  • Eliminate or reduce waste in production and related processes.
  • Carry out varied and responsible tasks in connection with Industrial Engineering activities.

QualificationsCANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure that sufficient detail is provided on the application form to how the applicant meets essential job criteria, as this alone will be used for vetting purposes. Candidates Must

  • Possess a minimum of an HNC in Engineering together with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Manufacturing Engineering or Industrial Engineering Function.

AND

  • Be articulate and able to communicate information clearly and concisely.
  • Be able to work as part of a team both at site and group level.
  • Have the ability to demonstrate application of knowledge and experience within an Engineering Function / Department.
  • Be computer literate.
  • Be able to demonstrate the ability to solve problems.
  • Be a self-starter and demonstrate high levels of motivation.

Specific systems training will be provided as required for the role. The role may include travel outside Northern Ireland. Applications must be completed and submitted by 4PM Tuesday 14th April 2026Please Note
