Senior Network Engineer

Subsea7 is looking for a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a background in cloud networking (Azure preferred) and practical experience with tools such as zScaler, Cisco/Meraki, LogicMonitor, and Fortinet, alongside a solid foundation in standard network technologies. What will you be doing?

• Design, implement, and maintain robust network solutions across on-premises and cloud environments, with a focus on Azure networking.
• Manage and optimise network security using technologies such as zScaler and Fortinet.
• Monitor network performance and reliability using LogicMonitor and other monitoring tools.
• Identify and resolve complex network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and efficient network infrastructure.

• Demonstrated experience in network engineering, with a focus on both on-premises and cloud (Azure preferred) environments.
• Proficient knowledge with zScaler, Cisco/Meraki, LogicMonitor, and Fortinet products.
• Comprehensive understanding of standard networking technologies (routing, switching, firewalls, WIFI, VPNs, etc.).
• Experience of voice technologies such as MS Teams, SIP, Ribbon SBC’s.
• Experience with network automation and scripting is desirable.
• Effective problem-solving techniques and the ability to engage with others in a changing environment.
