Currently, we are in search of a Pump Technician to join our thriving Aberdeen (Ellon) Service Centre, which is experiencing substantial growth with considerable investments offering numerous avenues for career advancement. Our commitment to dependable quality and timely delivery is upheld through a blend of technical proficiency and world-class engineering facility. Your main tasks and responsibilities:

• Dismantle and record dimensional findings, detailing any fault on the report form.
• Repair of components e.g. fitting and pinning wear rings, bushes, pressure testing, dynamic balancing etc.
• Reclamation of pump components to enable safe re-use.
• Assembly of basic pump types in line with the inspection report and work instructions.
• Assembly of complex pump types in line with the inspection report and work instructions. Assist team to troubleshoot assembly issues.
• Compile records and reports as required, and comply with all relevant Company Procedures and Processes.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Proven experience in the maintenance and repair of various pump systems
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues with pump systems and implement effective solutions.
• Strong understanding of mechanical components and the ability to perform hands-on repairs and adjustments.
• Be able to demonstrate clear and effective communication with team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
