Project Manager | 400kV National Grid Projects | UK
I'm looking to speak with experienced Project Managers for an exciting opportunity to deliver major National Grid transmission and substation projects across the UK.
This is an opportunity to take full ownership of complex infrastructure projects, leading multidisciplinary teams and driving safe, commercially successful delivery from construction through to commissioning and handover.
The Opportunity
- Lead major National Grid transmission and substation projects, including 400kV infrastructure.
- Take ownership of project safety, programme, budget, quality and commercial performance.
- Manage client relationships, subcontractors and multidisciplinary delivery teams.
- Oversee programme controls, risk management, procurement and contractual change.
- Drive commissioning, energisation readiness and final handover.
What We're Looking For
- Proven Project Management experience on major infrastructure, energy or HV projects.
- Ideally, experience delivering high-voltage substations or transmission projects, particularly at 400kV.
- Strong knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 contracts, programme management and commercial controls.
- SMSTS and an appropriate CSCS/EUSR CSCS management card.
- A degree or equivalent qualification in engineering, construction management or a related discipline.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management and project delivery skills.
Package & Location
- UK project/site-based role.
- Salary package including a 20% uplift, for travel.
- Travel support for journeys of up to 100 miles, subject to the agreed arrangements.
- Opportunity to work on nationally significant energy infrastructure projects.
