About the Client

Our client is a UK market leader in the design and manufacture of high-quality, made-to-order timber products. Renowned for their craftsmanship, fast turnaround, and innovative approach, they supply some of the country’s most recognisable commercial and interior projects. Due to internal promotion, they are seeking an Internal Sales Executive to join their busy and collaborative Birmingham office.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Process sales orders accurately and efficiently
  • Prepare quotations and tender documentation
  • Manage inbound customer enquiries via phone and email
  • Support Area Sales Managers with pricing, updates, and administrative tasks
  • Coordinate with production, operations, and suppliers to ensure smooth workflows
  • Participate in telesales campaigns and special commercial initiatives
  • Promote seamless collaboration between the sales office and factory teams

Qualifications

  • Experience in internal sales, customer service, or sales administration
  • Ideally from a manufacturing, construction, or similar technical environment
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent order accuracy
  • Confident communicator via phone and email
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM/order processing systems (e.g. HubSpot)
  • Proactive, organised team player with the ability to manage multiple priorities
