Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Garment Technician based in our London studios. The Senior Garment Technician will manage product development processes, ensure technical precision, conduct garment fittings, and liaise with clients and suppliers. They will oversee quality control, advise on garment construction, and collaborate closely with the design and production teams.
- Managing your own multi product customer accounts and building strong relationships with buying & technical teams
- Leading fit sessions (3–5 per week) and ensuring approvals stay on track
- Measuring, reviewing, and approving samples from factories
- Writing clear fit comments, size specs, and graded specs
- Liaising daily with factories and technical teams to ensure quality and consistency
- Managing fabric and chemical testing (TRFs), ensuring compliance with UK/EU/USA standards
- Tracking and maintaining the Production Critical Path alongside Merchandising
- Reviewing QC reports and approving goods for shipment
- Collaborating cross-functionally to resolve production issues and improve processes
Qualifications
- 7+ years’ experience as a Garment Technologist
- Strong supplier-side experience (China essential), with solid expertise in garment fitting, pattern cutting, and construction
- Solid knowledge of garment testing & compliance processes
- Proven experience across outerwear, dresses, and tailoring
- Highly organised, proactive, and confident working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong Knowledge of woven fabrics, garment grading, and construction techniques
- Ability to perform quality assurance checks and implement improvements
- Experience working in a fast-paced fashion or design studio environment
- Ability to manage multiple projects and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Technology, Textile Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Knowledge of current fashion trends and strong eye for detail
