The Opportunity

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee high-value (£10m+) electricity and infrastructure projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and quality-driven delivery.

This is a senior leadership role, accountable for managing multiple construction and engineering workstreams, leading diverse project teams, and engaging directly with clients, contractors, and technical partners.

You’ll combine technical project management expertise with commercial awareness, ensuring compliance with international standards, HSE requirements, and ISO9001 processes while delivering tangible results.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple capital delivery and electrical infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans using tools such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Ensure all works comply with CDM, IOSH, and ISO9001 standards.
• Identify and proactively mitigate project risks and potential bottlenecks.
• Coordinate with internal teams, external contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Maintain strong commercial oversight, ensuring projects meet profitability and performance targets.
• Provide clear progress and performance reporting to clients and leadership teams.
• Promote a strong health, safety, and quality culture across all delivery teams.
• Foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing across multidisciplinary project environments.

About You

• Minimum 8+ years’ experience delivering large-scale construction or engineering projects (£10m+).
• Proven track record managing electrical infrastructure, utilities, or energy sector projects.
• Degree-qualified in Engineering, Construction, or Project Management.
• Professional project management certification (e.g. APM, PMP, Chartered PM or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of HSE, IOSH, CDM regulations and risk management practices.
• Proficient in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and MS Office tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Based in or willing to travel regularly within the South East and wider UK.
