Wild Water Group is a leading provider of cold storage, distribution and technical services across Wales and Southwest England. We are now seeking an experienced and motivated Technical Manager to oversee our Quality, Food Safety and Compliance functions across the Group, reporting to the Managing Director.

Experience within food or warehousing environments is advantageous.

Office base at either our Cardiff or Aberbargoed sites with travel across Wales and Southwest England.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading the development, monitoring and continuous improvement of the Group’s Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Managing and hosting external audits (BRC, Organic, EHO, FSA, HMRC, customer audits)
  • Managing HACCP for the Group
  • Conducting GAP analyses and ensuring full regulatory and customer compliance
  • Providing technical expertise and support to site teams and senior management
  • Leading monthly management review meetings
  • Overseeing SOP creation, maintenance and training across the business
  • Supporting the development of a strong Food Safety & Quality culture
  • Managing and developing the Technical & Health & Safety teams
  • Conducting daily temperature monitoring and escalation where required

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Technical Manager or Quality Manager
  • Food Safety Level 3 / Food Science Degree or equivalent qualification/experience
  • HACCP Level 3 (or willingness to complete within 3 months)
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to influence across departments
  • Proactive mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise under pressure
  • IT literacy and confidence using digital quality systems
  • Full driving licence and own transport
