About

I made some of the most ground breaking steps in domestic LED lighting. I designed the first GU10 single COB LED spotlight. I also designed the first red and blue and blue grow bulbs and the first domestic filament LED bulbs. I have since had many more turns in this role but I don't just tie myself down with that. I am a very capable designer that just needs the right support. A top of the range laptop. Whatever design software your company uses and Google one with Gemini family package as well as Adobe suite. Any other software is a plus. I can bend my mind to pretty much any task and I'm eager for a work from home freelance position. I would conduct most of my work through zoom and other related apps. In terms of liaising and conferences and meetings but I'm not completely against the idea of coming on site once in a while. But it's important for you to be aware that I am physically and mentally disabled and I am doing this out of choice not necessity. Although I could use more cash. My life is already quite comfortable. I just lack the life I once lived. Working long hours through the night to meet deadlines for Mira Hinckley bas a consultant to military and services projects.

Fair profile

Christopher Alec Grice's profile shows a strong background in design innovation, particularly in the LED lighting industry. However, there are several areas that could be improved for better market positioning. Firstly, while the candidate highlights significant achievements in product design, these accomplishments are not clearly tied to measurable outcomes or impact, which would strengthen his case. Additionally, the skills section is underdeveloped, listing only 'design,' whereas more specific skills (e.g., CAD software, project management, etc.) would enhance the profile. The job title 'Freelance concept designer' is somewhat vague and could benefit from being more specific to reflect the depth of experience in industrial or product design. Furthermore, the lack of a resume significantly detracts from the overall completeness of the profile, as it leaves potential employers without detailed information about past roles, responsibilities, and achievements. Providing relevant links such as LinkedIn or a portfolio could also help showcase capabilities and work samples. Lastly, the summary mentions disabilities but does not focus enough on how they may have shaped his unique approach to problem-solving, which could be reframed into a positive narrative.

How to improve

The professional summary should begin with a concise statement of who you are as a designer and what makes you stand out. For instance, highlight your pioneering role in LED lighting innovations and specify your expertise in designing groundbreaking products like GU10 COB spotlights and filament bulbs. Use bullet points to list key accomplishments, emphasizing their impact. Avoid overly casual language and focus on professionalism. Instead of mentioning personal details like financial needs or comfort levels, emphasize your passion for design and ability to deliver high-quality results remotely. Conclude by expressing enthusiasm for freelance opportunities where you can contribute meaningfully using your versatile skill set.
