A long-serving careers adviser from Bradford College has been named the winner of the prestigious NCFE Aspiration Award for 'Support Staff of the Year'. The national awards celebrate learners, apprentices, educators, and support staff who make an outstanding impact in education across the UK.
Going Above and Beyond
Gulshan Bi, a careers adviser at Bradford College, was recognized for her extraordinary dedication to students, many of whom have complex or sensitive needs. Despite working part-time, she ensures every student leaves the careers office feeling heard, reassured, and supported. Her calm, compassionate approach helps students feel confident in their next steps, and her professionalism ensures guidance is always accurate and empowering.
