We take our weekly look at appointments and promotions across the housebuilding industry and its supply chain.
Paul Carter, British Offsite

British Offsite has announced its appointment of Paul Carter as delivery director.
He joins from Mount Anvil, where he was project director, working on multi-phased schemes in London including Royal Eden Docks and Queens Cross, part of the ExCel estate regeneration. He has won multiple NHBC Pride in the Job quality awards and was awarded a further Quality award and Seal of Excellence at October’s London region awards this year.
Carter began his construction career as a heating engineer in Ipswich moving up to contracts manager at a local engineering firm. He joined Mount Anvil in 2013.
He said: "I’m delighted to be joining British Offsite at such an exciting time for the company. I can’t wait to get stuck in."

Three Appointments, Tara Group

Tara Group has boosted its finance department with the appointments of Taranjit Tiwana as finance director of Cameron Homes, David Grady as chief financial officer for the group and Kiera Pascoe to the newly created position of director of tax and financial compliance for group.
Tiwana (pictured left) is an ACCA-qualified accountant and brings 12 years’ experience working with Redrow Homes across the East Midlands and Yorkshire.
Grady (pictured centre) gained significant experience at PWC, Donaldsons and Tarmac before becoming CFO at Central England Co-op. More recently he has been the CFO at the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games and, prior to joining Tara, the CFO of University of Wolverhampton.
Pascoe (pictured right) is an FCCA who has been promoted after 18 years as FD for Chasetown Civil Engineering.
Grady commented: "This is a fantastic time to be joining the Tara Group as we plot the next five years of growth."
Ross Constant, Allison Homes

Allison Homes has announced the promotion of Ross Constant to the brand new role of group head of technical, a step in a five-year plan to double in size of the company.
Constant studied architecture at the University of Lincoln, where he earned his BA (Hons) degree. Since joining Allison Homes in 2020, he has steadily worked his way up through several technical roles. He will work alongside group commercial director, Andrew Robson, and group head of procurement, Steve Orwin, to provide support and leadership to the company’s regional technical teams.
He said: "Being part of Allison Homes is incredibly rewarding. I’m passionate about supporting our teams to deliver homes that stand the test of time, in both quality and innovation and I look forward to being part of Allison Homes’ ongoing success and growth."
About Constant’s appointment, Robson added: "Ross’s promotion is thoroughly deserved. He will make a significant impact on how we work, through his focus on technical expertise, collaboration and improvement."
Sarah Carruthers, Persimmon Homes

Persimmon Homes East Scotland has appointed Sarah Carruthers as its new technical director, set to begin her role in mid-November.
She joins the East Scotland business from Persimmon North Scotland, where she has worked since 2020. Beginning her career there as an architectural technician, she rose through the ranks to become technical manager. With more than a decade of experience in the housebuilding industry, Carruthers brings a wealth of knowledge in design, planning, and construction.
She said: "I’m incredibly proud to be stepping into this new role and continuing my journey with Persimmon. After several years with the North Scotland team, I’m excited to take on a new challenge with East Scotland and help deliver homes that our customers and communities can be proud of."
Neil Parry, managing director at Persimmon Homes East Scotland, added: "Sarah’s appointment is a fantastic addition to our regional leadership team. We’re delighted to welcome her to East Scotland as we continue to grow our operations and deliver high-quality homes across the region."
Multiple Appointments, SAY Property

As part of a series of promotions, SAY Property has announced the appointment of Caspar Courage (pictured) as managing director.
A Chartered Surveyor, he previously led SAY’s teams in the Rental Living and Later Living sectors, working with developers, operators, and investors. He co-authored the Urban Land Institute’s Housing with Care Guide and was named one of Property Week’s 2019 RESI Trailblazers. He will continue to lead Later Living alongside the MD role.
Anna MacDonald has been promoted to director – rental living. With 15 years’ experience in asset and property management, she combines deep operational understanding with strategic insight to help clients improve efficiency and develop strong operational models across rental living portfolios.
Gareth Bridgman has become associate director – regional lead. A Chartered Surveyor with experience across Mixed-Use, Affordable Housing, and Rental Living.

Two Appointments, Stonewater Group

Stonewater and Mount Green Housing Association, part of the Stonewater Group, has announced two new appointments to its board.
Leatherhead-based housing association, Mount Green, which joined the Stonewater Group in 2024, has appointed Heather Bowman as the new chair, following the retirement of Martin Large at the end of September. She brings extensive experience to the role as both an executive and non-executive director, having worked in social housing and the wider sector for over 35 years. She is currently a board member at Stonewater and previously served as chief operating officer at Sovereign Housing.
Housing provider Stonewater has announced that Nicola Webber (pictured) will take over as chair of its Risk and Assurance Committee, following the departure of Andrew Lawrence. As a Chartered Accountant, she brings substantial expertise to the role with a background in corporate finance, private equity and investment management. She is a portfolio non-executive director, working with purpose-led organisations, and has extensive experience as Chair of audit, risk and finance committees.
Martin Samworth, Ringley Group

Ringley Group has strengthened its senior leadership team with the appointment of Martin Samworth as group chairman. He has held roles as strategic adviser and non-executive director for the company.
Samworth will work closely with Group CEO Richard Williams to oversee the company’s operations and set the strategic direction and implementation for future growth, with the leadership completed by Mary Anne Bowring and Mehdi Mehra, co-founders of the business.
He said: "I’m inspired and energised to be working with Ringley at such an exciting and pivotal time in the living sectors. Ringley’s proposition to the market has a number of clear value differentiators for clients, given no one else is offering the breadth of services, driven by technology and proprietary data."
Bowring commented: "This is an important milestone for the business which over the years has grown into a truly full service asset and property management company for the Living sectors."
Dean Martin, Unique Window Systems

Unique Window Systems has made a key appointment with Dean Martin taking on the role of head of sales.
He has spent over 25 years in the fenestration industry. During this time, he has worked for a number of the industry’s leading fabricators and developed and implemented multiple highly successful sales strategies.
Speaking of his decision to join Unique, Martin said: "The chance to take on the role of head of sales at Unique represented the right opportunity at the right time. I am looking forward to building on those achievements and to being a driving force in Unique’s next exciting chapter."

Craig Mason, Karis Capital

Karis Capital has appointed Craig Mason to head up the real estate debt advisory firm’s new Manchester office in the role of senior associate, structured finance.
With over ten years of experience in multi-sector finance, Mason joins Karis Capital to strengthen the firm’s regional offering while providing an on-the-ground presence for clients across the North West and beyond.
He commented: "I am incredibly proud to join the team at Karis Capital. The business has evolved into such an esteemed and respected name in the sector in a short space of time and I’m excited to help facilitate that further."
