What You Will Do... As a Project Lead within our PMO, you will drive key initiatives that support the development and scaling of the Engineering Quality organisation. You will lead the planning, execution, and facilitation of cross‑functional quality programmes, ensuring that all initiatives follow structured governance, meet strategic objectives, and prepare the organisation for rapid growth. You will act as the bridge between strategy and execution—supporting the rollout of quality processes, embedding change, and enabling proactive concern and risk management across Engineering, Manufacturing, R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, and wider leadership teams. Key Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end management of Engineering Quality projects, including defining scope, timelines, dependencies, milestones, and deliverables.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to establish and scale key Quality capabilities, ensuring alignment with PMO governance standards.
- Develop, implement, and improve project governance procedures, including gateways, stage‑gates, milestone reviews, and approval workflows.
- Facilitate gateway and milestone events, ensuring readiness criteria, documentation, and decision materials are fully prepared.
- Support the development and rollout of Engineering Quality processes, tools, and governance frameworks—such as design quality, process quality, warranty quality, and supplier quality interfaces.
- Ensure alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements relevant to battery manufacturing.Lead structured change management activities, including stakeholder impact assessments, communication plans, and adoption roadmaps.
- Support proactive concern and risk management—identifying risks, tracking issues, driving mitigation strategies, and ensuring clear visibility for senior stakeholders.
- Maintain schedules, budgets, risk logs, resource plans, and project documentation in line with PMO standards and audit requirements.
- Generate regular reporting across gateways, milestones, quality readiness, and governance compliance.
- Capture lessons learned and contribute to the continuous improvement of PMO methods, tools, and templates suitable for a scaling startup environment.

- 5+ years of project or programme management experience within engineering, manufacturing, industrial environments, or quality functions.
- Proven experience working in or alongside a PMO.
- Strong understanding of project governance, change management, and structured problem‑solving.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex cross‑functional initiatives in fast‑paced or startup environments.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, planning, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience in battery, automotive, energy, semiconductors, or regulated manufacturing industries (preferred).
- Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) (preferred).
- Experience helping build or scale new teams, functions, or processes.
