Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Quantity Surveyor at ANDREW STRAIN CONSTRUCTION LIMITED, located in Cambuslang. The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for tasks such as preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), managing and controlling costs, planning project budgets, and preparing regular cost reports and evaluations. The role entails working closely with project teams to ensure financial efficiency and compliance with project requirements.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Cost Control, Cost Management, and Cost Planning
• Experience in creating and managing Bills of Quantities (BOQ)
• Ability to perform Cost Reporting and financial analysis for projects
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with clients and teams
• Proficiency in relevant software tools and platforms
• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
• Knowledge of local building regulations and industry standards is advantageous
