Balanced Hiring are looking for a Management Accountant who genuinely enjoys solving problems, untangling complex reconciliations and being the person who figures out why something doesn't balance.

This isn't a role centred around budgeting and forecasting.

Instead, you'll become the go-to person for the technical side of month-end, working with complex reconciliations, multiple entities and high transaction volumes within a growing business.

If you enjoy rolling your sleeves up and investigating financial issues, this could be exactly what you're looking for.

You'll be involved in:

✔ Preparing monthly management accounts up to P&L and Balance Sheet

✔ Complex balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations

✔ Accruals, prepayments and month-end adjustments

✔ Investigating financial queries and resolving discrepancies

✔ Working closely with payroll transactions, holiday accruals and associated journals

✔ Liaising with teams across the business to resolve complex accounting issues

✔ Supporting process improvements as the business continues to grow

We're looking for someone who:

• Has solid Management Accounting experience.
• Loves reconciliations and enjoys working through complex problems.
• Has excellent attention to detail.
• Is naturally analytical and curious.
• Enjoys collaborating with colleagues across the business.
• Is happy to roll their sleeves up in a hands-on finance role.

Knowledge of payroll journals, holiday accruals and intercompany accounting would be highly advantageous.
