Affiliate Marketing Executive
At BargainMax.co.uk we are looking for an Affiliate Marketing Executive to join our growing team to maintain the established affiliate channel, as well as supporting the influencer affiliate program. This role will include working on our TikTok channel including presenting lives and creating content.
Our company's purpose is to make the biggest and best-selling toy brands accessible to every family, which we have done for over 10 years, via our website bargainmax.co.uk, eBay and Amazon UK/FR/DE. Our customers love value, so as well as delivering the latest brands and innovations, we offer competitive pricing and consistently excellent customer service.
The toy world is an ever-evolving industry, and we intend to be at the forefront of it, being the first UK toy retailer to launch a TikTok live shopping experience in 2023, and now having a well established Affiliate Programme on the channel.
This role will involve working with some of the biggest toy brands in the world such as LEGO, Barbie, Bluey, vtech and many more - We are on a big journey and our Affiliate Marketing Executive will be a key part of it.
About the role...
This role will be responsible for supporting the Head of Marketing, optimising the affiliate channel and building out further the established affiliate program on TikTok with our Social Media Executive.
You will be a key point of contact in the affiliate team managing key partners, and executing a best-in-class affiliate marketing experience.
Skills required:
- Experience with affiliate marketing and the AWIN program.
- Strong knowledge of affiliate platforms, partners, and programs including TikTok.
- Good working knowledge of analytics programs.
- An understanding of other online paid channels and how affiliate fits into the mix.
- Strong communication skills – including reporting and presenting.
- Strong Excel skills
- Strong negotiation, analytical and implementation skills.
Responsibilities:
- Manage direct relationships with key affiliate partners and manage the required level of service from the affiliate network to ensure up to standard as per our agreement.
- Research and source new affiliate opportunities and partners, working with the network on ongoing recruitment and gap analysis.
- Ensure affiliates are kept up to date with the new products, latest company news and promotions.
- Using the marketing calendar to create opportunities for the network.
- Support the Head of Marketing with the execution of key strategic projects and initiatives to grow the channel & achieve business goals.
- Working with the Social Media Executive on TikTok content and owning the CPAs and sampling on the TikTok Affiliate programme.
- Supporting the Head of Marketing with weekly and monthly reporting, using available data and GA to monitor performance. Identifying opportunities and executing actions.
- Work to budget set by the Head of Marketing to ensure maximising budget within ROI targets and presenting back additional opportunities for consideration.
- Maintain ownership of the sales validation process, ensuring affiliate orders are being approved/declined promptly.
- Communicate industry trends to the rest of the Marketing team – attending industry events and webinars to keep up to date with happenings and maintaining industry relationships.
- Wider partnership management and support where required across off-network partner types such as buy now pay later media.

- 2 years experience working on an affiliate programme.
- Able to effectively manage multiple projects and partners in a fast-paced environment.
- Be excited by constant change and innovation.
- Able to build great working relationships with your colleagues.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to generate and interpret marketing effectiveness and report back/take action.
- Comfortable working both collaboratively and independently.
- Open to and responsive to constructive feedback.
