Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for Steel Erectors, based in Cradley Heath. Responsibilities include the assembly, installation, and erection of structural steel components on construction sites. Steel Erectors will work with power tools and equipment, assist with welding tasks, rigging operations, and ensure the correct use of fall protection systems. The role requires attention to detail and a commitment to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in using power tools and working with structural steel components
• Experience in welding tasks and working with iron components
• Knowledge of proper fall protection methods and safety procedures
• Skills in rigging and handling large steel materials on-site
• Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and engineering plans
• CSCS and CPCS certifications are required
• Good physical fitness and the ability to work at heights
• Previous experience in a similar steel erection or construction role is advantageous
