Role Description

We are recruiting for both full time and part time Support Worker roles, based in Griffithstown. The Support Worker will be responsible for providing personalized care and assistance to individuals, including supporting with personal care routines daily activities, promoting independence, and ensuring their safety and well-being. Additional responsibilities include maintaining effective communication with clients and their families, adhering to safeguarding practices, and offering technical or practical support as necessary. Building meaningful relationships with clients will be an integral part of the role.

Requirements

• Experience as a Support Worker and knowledge of safeguarding protocols is desirable
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust and rapport with clients
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Empathy, patience, and a compassionate approach to caregiving
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently
• Previous experience in healthcare or support services is a strong advantage
• You will be required to work shifts including evenings and weekends and be flexible to procise additional cover when needed
• QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care or be willing to work towards this qualification.
• Successful applicants will be required to register with Social Care Wales & complete a DBS check
