Account Manager – Renal/Oncology – Thames Valley and Severn Valley

The Account Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and increasing market share of the catheter pouch portfolio within the renal and oncology therapy areas. The role focuses on developing and maintaining effective relationships with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders across community and acute settings, supporting patient adoption through a referral-based model.
Working in collaboration with internal stakeholders, the role will implement strategic business plans, identify new business opportunities, and ensure consistent account development.
The position requires a strong understanding of the healthcare landscape, particularly within NHS systems, to align activities with customer and organisational priorities.
Candidate profile:
- Proven experience in a sales role within the medical or healthcare sector, particularly in selling consumable products to healthcare professionals
- Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Strong understanding of the NHS structure and stakeholder landscape
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage a high level of field-based activity
- Effective negotiation, presentation, and influencing skills
- Experience within renal dialysis or related therapy areas (desirable)
- Experience within IV oncology or broader medical device sectors (desirable)
- Experience working within a referral-based or patient pathway-driven sales model (desirable)
