Overall Purpose of the Role
As a Senior HR Advisor, you will manage a team of HR Advisors, ensuring the accurate delivery of a range of HR services to the client(s), whilst also ensuring support to the HR manager(s) in the course of their duties. To ensure that all work is completed in a timely and accurate manner, and to undertake assigned activities relating to other functions within HR Services. To liaise with client employees on service issues.
Key Responsibilities
•To line manage a team of HR Advisors, monitoring the effectiveness of individual team members and as necessary motivate, coach and encourage their performance and development.
•To set, monitor, review and assess individual and team performance through objective setting and regular performance appraisal using Conexia Guidelines.
•To ensure all Conexia management activities relating to the team e.g., performance, 121’s, training activities, attendance and absence management etc. are carried out within required timeframes, ensuring there is adequate resource to meet service delivery requirements.
•To manage workflow to ensure customer service standards are adhered to in assigning out case work to HR Advisors.
•To ensure that team members are making consistent use of knowledge management systems, manuals and operating in accordance with policies, procedures and legislation i.e., relevant HRMS/CRM procedures covering Case Management for advice and guidance, tribunal support, workplace investigations and all other services provided to meet client needs.
•To liaise and agree with the HR Manager(s) on the support necessary to assist the range of work undertaken by the HR Advisors in the HR department.
•Ensure all work is carried out to meet SLA’s / KPI’s and Shared Service Centre standards.
•To undertake duties in relation to telephone queries, email queries and post queries regarding the sphere of work covered by HR Services.
•To carry out necessary BA and Quality checks as required within the required timeframes.
•To provide support to team members whilst remaining service focused.
•To keep up to date with issues across the HR Services.
•To work closely with the HR Manager(s) to promote a culture of continuous improvement and to ensure that improvements are implemented and communicated effectively.
•To attend meetings both internally and externally as required.
•To attend training as required with the intent to use its practical application to improve both own and team performance.
•Conduct investigations as and when required for management for complaints, incidents etc...
Other tasks may be assigned to the role over time based on business need within reason and following consultation with the post holder.

Skills and ExperienceEssential:
Experience of working within an HR environment
•Excellent organisational skills demonstrated by the ability to manage large and complex workload within agreed timescales whilst maintaining accuracy
•Ability to work in a flexible manner to meet operational needs
•Experience of managing/supervising a team.
•Experience of engagement with clients.
•Experience of using CRM and HRMS
•Computer literate
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

•Case Management experience
•Experience in the use of integrated HR Systems
•Experience of using performance management techniques effectively
•Tribunal experience
•Experience of taking lead on an employee relations investigation
•Experience of managing/supervising a team within the past 5 years
Vetting
This role will require you to undertake security vetting to CTC level, and as such all candidates must have been resident in the United Kingdom or Republic of Ireland for a minimum period of 3 years at point of application.
