Salary: £34,662 rising to £40,383 per annum + Excellent Benefits including Government Pension

Hours per week: 37 hours per week. However, we welcome applications from individuals wishing to work on a part-time basis, for example a job share basis, and we are willing to consider flexible working patterns subject to business need.
About the role
We are seeking experienced and motivated Senior Resourcing Officers to join our Recruitment and Selection Team, based at either Devon & Cornwall Police Headquarters, Exeter, or Dorset Police Headquarters, Winfrith. We are recruiting for:
- one permanent position (37 hours per week*),
- one temporary maternity cover position until 30 November 2027 (37 hours per week*),
- a reserve pool for future vacancies anticipated during 2027.

As a Senior Resourcing Officer, you will provide professional advice and leadership across a range of recruitment and resourcing activities. You will work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure recruitment campaigns, promotions and postings are delivered effectively, efficiently and in line with best practice.
You will also support and develop members of the Resourcing team, helping to create a positive and high-performing environment.

What you'll bring
You will bring significant recruitment experience with a strong understanding of employment legislation and a proven ability to deliver fair, compliant and effective recruitment processes. Highly organised and proactive, you excel at planning, managing priorities and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
A confident user of HR and vacancy management systems, you have the analytical skills to turn data into meaningful insights that support decision-making. A natural problem solver, you use your initiative to overcome challenges and drive continuous improvement. You will also bring previous supervisory experience and a track record of successfully managing volume services while maintaining excellent standards of customer service.
