Financial Reporting Manager

Step in immediately as an Interim Financial Reporting Manager for a nationally recognised organisation. This is a hands-on leadership role with clear ownership.

Location: East Midlands | Hybrid (2 days on-site) Rate: £300–£325 per day (Umbrella)

Start: Immediate

You will:

• Set direction and pace for a small finance team—coach, upskill, and create momentum.
• Own the month/quarter/year-end close and external reporting—deliver right-first-time outputs.
• Take responsibility for audit delivery—coordinate stakeholders and keep timelines tight.
• Safeguard balance sheet integrity—lead reconciliations and controls.
• Elevate management reporting—turn data into insight and action for senior leaders.
• Drive ad hoc and commercial analysis that informs decisions in a complex, changing environment.

What you bring:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified; first movers from Practice with managerial experience welcomed
• Proven technical depth in IFRS/financial reporting and control
• Track record leading people—setting standards, delegating effectively, and coaching for results.
• Confident operator with senior stakeholders; calm, structured, and credible under pressure.
• Experience steering audit processes end-to-end.
