Overview
Our client is seeking a proactive and highly organised Learning & Development Assistant to join a well-established HR function supporting colleagues across multiple UK locations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an early-career HR or L&D professional who is passionate about people development and keen to build experience within a structured, fast-paced professional services environment.
The position supports the delivery of engaging, high-quality learning solutions across face-to-face, virtual, and on-demand platforms, working closely with internal stakeholders and external providers.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule learning and development sessions across UK offices
- Provide administrative and logistical support for L&D programmes, workshops, and events
- Support virtual learning delivery as a technical producer using platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom
- Create, format, and distribute branded learning materials for digital and in-person sessions
- Edit session recordings and maintain digital learning content libraries
- Manage and update the Learning Hub via SharePoint
- Liaise with facilitators, trainers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery
- Support onboarding of learning suppliers and process invoices
- Provide administrative support for L&D projects and initiatives
RequirementsEssential
- Strong administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and diaries
- High level of IT literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proactive, solutions-focused approach to work
- Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-changing environment
Desirable
- Previous experience in Learning & Development, HR, or professional services
- Familiarity with virtual learning platforms and digital content management
- Experience using SharePoint or learning management systems
- Willingness to travel to UK offices, including London, as required
