Take your next step and support us as a Connected Services Test Engineer (Connected Car) Contract: FTE Contract (12 months (with possible extension)) Location: customer (North West): Hybrid, minimum 4 days per week onsite Area: Electrical Engineering Key Responsibilities
- Execute test cases for Connected Car services
- Perform regression testing related to Group backend deployments
- Document test execution and manage results in test management tools
- Capture logs, screenshots, and video evidence
- Raise, track, and manage defects within defined SLAs
- Support retesting of resolved incidents and field issues
- Collaborate closely with onsite equipment support and engineering teams
- Other tasks as assigned by your manager.
Requirements
- Experience in automotive connected services or infotainment testing
- Solid understanding of test execution and defect lifecycle management
- Experience working with real vehicles and test benches
- Analytical mindset and attention to detail
- Comfortable working in structured testing environments
- Structured and reliable working style with good documentation skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders
- Experience working with OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers in the automotive industry
- Experience working in Agile development environments
- Prior onsite delivery experience within OEM test organisations
- Desired tool experience: JIRA (Xray), Confluence
- Desired tool experience: iDEX, SOAP UI
- Desired tool experience: ODIS, CP Tool
- Desired tool experience: Vector CANoe / CANalyser
- Degree educated in relevant field. ECUK registration would be beneficial
- Effective teamwork skills in a global team environment
- Effective in solving quality challenges
- High level of analytical ability, where problems are unusual and difficult
- MS-Office proficiency
- Willingness to travel to customer location as required, local and global
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with German as a plus
