A fast-growing cloud solutions provider is offering an exciting opportunity for a Junior Account Manager to begin a long-term career in account management within the technology sector.

No previous account management or technical experience is required, full training and support are provided from day one.

The Role

As a Junior Account Manager, you’ll support the management and development of client relationships, helping to ensure a positive customer experience and long-term partnerships.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the management of a portfolio of business clients
  • Learning to understand client needs and how cloud-based solutions support their objectives
  • Acting as a first point of contact for client queries, ensuring a professional and responsive service
  • Working closely with internal teams to deliver a high standard of customer support
  • Assisting with account growth by identifying opportunities to add value
  • Maintaining accurate client records and updating internal systems
  • Contributing ideas to improve client engagement and retention

Training & Development

You’ll receive a structured onboarding and training programme designed to build your confidence and skills in both account management and cloud technology.

This includes:

  • Full training on products, services, and account management processes
  • One-to-one mentoring and ongoing coaching
  • Clear development milestones and regular performance feedback
  • Progression opportunities into Account Manager and Senior Account Manager roles
  • Continuous learning as new technologies and services are introduced

Requirements

This role would suit someone who is motivated to learn and build a long-term career in account management.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A professional and customer-focused approach
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Confidence using IT systems such as CRM tools, email, and Microsoft Office
  • A willingness to learn about technology and cloud-based solutions
  • Reliability, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude
