Role Description This is a full-time, on-site position based in Cardiff. As a Care Home Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day management of the care home, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care for all residents. Responsibilities include managing staff, developing and maintaining care plans, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and fostering a positive and safe environment for residents and staff members. You will also liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and regulatory bodies to provide holistic, individualized support for residents. Qualifications

  • Strong leadership, team management, and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, care standards, and safeguarding practices
  • Effective communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven experience in care planning, staff supervision, and compliance management
  • Prior experience working with individuals with learning disabilities and mental health needs is preferred
  • Relevant qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent (such as NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care)
  • Ability to create a positive, empathetic, and inclusive environment
  • Strong IT and administrative skills for maintaining care reports and legal documentation
