About the Role:
We’re looking for an Experienced Lead Electrical Engineer to join our engineering department. You'll work closely with Key stakeholders to manager all engineering and design for sites across the south of England.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with design, engineering, and project management teams to deliver HV projects meeting client, scope, and electrical requirements.
- Manage construction‑phase designs, providing weekly feedback and lessons learned to the design team.
- Attend and contribute to design, construction, and subcontractor meetings, managing site interfaces and subcontractor performance.
- Oversee technical submittals, material approvals, FATs, and procurement of electrical materials and equipment.
- Carry out daily site walks to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure safety and quality compliance.
- Review installations against approved designs, raise QA/QC issues on Procore/ACC, and manage ITP setup and close‑out.
- Maintain project controls and communication, including MS Teams setup and weekly progress photo reporting.
Key Requirements:
- Have an Electrical Engineering degree, or be a time served apprentice with demonstrable industry experience
- Possess considerable experience in a electrical design or electrical engineering role within the HV or EHV sector.
- Working knowledge of design software to include ETAP, Eplan, AutoCAD, would be advantageous but not mandatory.
