IT Technician

Your new company A high school in Bury has approached Hays looking for an interim IT Technician for 3-6 months. The role would be working in a high school on site Monday-Friday between 0800-1600. They are ideally looking for someone with school experience. Your new role As an IT Technician, you will:

• Provide 1st and 2nd line support to staff and students
• Troubleshooting hardware and software
• Maintenance of equipment, hardware and software
• Network diagnostics
• Installations, repairs and upgrades
• Helpdesk queries
• Resetting usernames and passwords

What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you should demonstrate:

• Experience of working in an IT Support role (education sector desirable)
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to support staff and students
• Strong attention to detail and great communication skills
• Enhanced DBS (we can get on pending)
• Driving licence and access to own vehicle
