NHS Grampian is looking for motivated and enthusiastic midwives to join our Maternity Service, providing high-quality, person-centred care in line with our organisational values. We have a range of opportunities available, including full-time and part-time posts, as well as permanent and temporary roles. Applications are welcomed from both experienced midwives (Band 6) and newly graduated midwives (band 5) This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of supportive, busy and welcoming teams caring for women, birthing people and families with a wide range of health and social care needs. You will work collaboratively with colleagues across maternity services and with wider health and care partners to deliver safe, effective and compassionate care. NHS Grampian is committed to supporting all midwives to develop and thrive in practice. Newly graduated midwives will be supported through a structured development and preceptorship programme, designed to help consolidate learning and build confidence, competence and professional growth across inpatient, outpatient and community settings. This broad experience will also support preparation for new ways of working as services continue to develop ahead of the move to the Baird Family Hospital and the progression of Continuity of Carer teams. Newly graduated midwives will also be supported to complete Flying Start and attend NHS Grampian Flying Start Development Days.
