I am delighted to be partnering with a hugely successful Global firm to source an experience Corporate Tax Director to join their Belfast office. My client continues to experience significant and sustained growth driven by increasing demand from domestic and international clients. The Belfast office plays a strategic role in this expansion, leveraging deep global firm relationships to deliver complex, high-value advisory work.
As part of this growth, the firm is seeking to appoint a Corporate Tax Advisory Director into a senior leadership role, with a clearly defined and credible progression route to Partner.
The Role
The Director will focus on leading and delivering complex corporate tax advisory engagements and supporting the continued expansion of the firm’s advisory capability in Belfast.
- Advising on a broad range of corporate tax advisory matters, including transactions, reorganisations, international structuring and value-driven tax planning
- Acting as a senior technical and commercial adviser to a portfolio of high-quality domestic and international clients
- Leveraging global firm relationships to support cross-border advisory mandates and inbound investment projects
- Playing a key role in developing and executing the firm’s corporate tax advisory growth strategy
- Leading client relationships and originating new advisory work through existing and new connections
- Mentoring and developing senior tax professionals within the advisory team
- Working closely with Partners across Ireland and internationally to support firm-wide growth initiatives
Partner Track
The firm offers a clearly structured, transparent and achievable route to Partner, with expectations around timeframe, business generation, leadership contribution and equity participation discussed openly from the outset. The practice has a strong track record of promoting advisory leaders internally to Partnership.
The Person
- Currently operating at Director level, or a highly experienced Senior Manager with a strong advisory profile ready to step up
- Professionally qualified (CTA / ACA / ACCA or equivalent)
- Technically strong across corporate tax advisory, with a commercial, transaction-focused mindset
- Experienced in advising on complex, multi-jurisdictional matters and working with international stakeholders
- Motivated by long-term progression to Partnership within a high-growth advisory environment
