A great opportunity for a proactive Facilities Coordinator to grow within a fast-expanding organisation. You’ll lead a small team and oversee a varied workload—from maintenance coordination and contractor management to health and safety and space planning. You’ll be trusted to take initiative, solve problems on the ground, and help shape a safe, efficient, and evolving workplace at HF.What You’ll Be Doing This pivotal role supports the Facilities Manager in overseeing the effective operation of all offices within HF’s property portfolio. It involves contributing to project execution and strategic planning to ensure the delivery and maintenance of cost-efficient services. This role is based at our Media City office and will involve travel to our other locations on a periodic basis. Main Responsibilities

  • Lead, supervise, and motivate the Facilities team to meet business objectives within agreed SLAs.
  • Assist in reviewing help desk and front of house operations to maximise efficiency.
  • Stay current with Health & Safety legislation and policies.
  • Contribute to project planning and execution to ensure cost-effective service delivery.
  • Escalate concerns related to workload, compliance, health & safety, or business risks.
  • Allocate work effectively, ensure coverage during core hours, and support team development.
  • Monitor attendance and conduct return-to-work meetings, appraisals, and 1-to-1s.
  • Provide first and second-line support for facilities, health & safety, and office management issues.
  • Ensure consistency and proper documentation in response to queries.
  • Source cost-effective office furniture and equipment.
  • Advise on health & safety best practices.
  • Collate and present management information (MI) for various audiences, including senior leadership.
  • Assist with tenders relevant to the facilities remit.
  • Plan and execute office and floor moves, including travel to other HF offices.
  • Coordinate reactive and preventative maintenance activities.
  • This role will involve some manual handling.
  • Ability to collaborate and work closely with multiple departments always displaying confident and effective communication with key stakeholders.
