A leading UK semiconductor company is expanding its Edinburgh team and is looking for a Senior Analog IC Design Engineer with strong power conversion expertise to help develop next-generation mixed-signal and power management ICs for high-growth automotive and industrial markets.
This is a great opportunity if you’re an Analog Designer looking for technical ownership, challenging design work and the opportunity to see your designs become real silicon. Here you’ll take end-to-end ownership of complex IC designs, from architecture and specification through circuit implementation, integration, tape-out and post-silicon validation.
Working with advanced CMOS technologies, you’ll tackle challenging power conversion problems and collaborate with experienced engineers across design, verification and product development.
What we’re looking for
- A BSc, MSc or PhD in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
- Proven industry experience in analog IC and mixed-signal design
- Strong understanding of analog architecture, circuit implementation and chip-level integration
- Experience with PMICs, DC-DC converters, SMPS, buck, boost or buck-boost converters
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
If you’re looking for your next challenge and would like more information, I’d love to hear from you. Contact Caroline Pye.
