We are supporting a well-established manufacturing organisation in the search for an experienced Quality Manager to take ownership of quality performance across production, suppliers, and customer-facing activities.

This is a senior role with real influence, offering the opportunity to shape quality strategy, improve operational standards, and drive continuous improvement across a dynamic environment.

You will lead the end-to-end quality function, ensuring that products meet required standards and customer expectations while driving measurable improvements across the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing quality processes across production, suppliers, and field performance
  • Acting as the escalation point for complex customer issues, ensuring timely resolution
  • Implementing robust systems to monitor and reduce the cost of poor quality
  • Leading investigations, containment actions, and long-term corrective solutions
  • Working cross-functionally with production, engineering, supply chain, and sales teams
  • Supporting new product introduction by identifying and mitigating quality risks
  • Conducting regular audits to ensure adherence to specifications and processes
  • Taking decisive action where product quality or safety may be compromised
  • Leading and developing a quality team, embedding a culture of continuous improvement
  • Engaging with customers and partners when required to resolve high-level concerns

Experience/qualifications:

  • A proactive and commercially aware quality professional who can lead from the front and influence at all levels of the organisation.
  • Proven experience in a senior quality or quality management position
  • Strong understanding of quality systems and compliance frameworks
  • Experience working within manufacturing environments, ideally involving both machinery and assembly operations
  • Confidence working with data to identify trends and make informed decisions
  • A customer-focused mindset with experience handling escalations or complaints
  • The ability to lead teams, drive accountability, and implement change
  • Relevant technical or quality-related qualifications
