Job Description
The Revenue Operations Manager will report to a Senior Operations Manager and be responsible for the development, expansion, and delivery of all operational management processes within Revenue Operations. This includes, but is not limited to, alerts/exceptions, risks, platform controls, regulatory KPI delivery, proactive controls frameworks, process improvement and optimization, and line management of SME and Expert roles within the team. A significant contribution toward driving performance at an optimized cost without negatively impacting customer satisfaction and adhering to all regulatory requirements across the Retail business is expected.
Additionally, the role entails managing key relationships with offshore teams, including performance management, continuous improvement, and day-to-day escalations. Close collaboration with outsource providers, possibly involving occasional travel, is required to drive improvements, maximize quality, and reduce costs.
In this role, you will manage a team of 6-10 process experts.
Key Qualifications for a Successful Revenue Operations Manager:
- Experience in managing performance metrics, team engagement, and development across operational functions.
- Significant leadership experience in a delivery-focused environment with a history of innovation and effective deployment.
- Knowledge of Revenue Assurance and Leakage, with an understanding of causes and preventions, preferably within the Energy Industry.
- Understanding of the relationship between revenue impact and customer impact, with awareness of implications.
- In-depth knowledge of the Energy Industry and processes such as Settlement related to Leakage.
- Extensive experience in HR processes and policies.
- Experience managing and adapting to change within IT systems, collaborating effectively with stakeholders.
- Competence in analyzing, planning, and delivering improvements across a range of complex, strategic change initiatives.
- Ability to manage teams working on sophisticated problems to derive useful insights.
- Desirable experience in end-to-end processes in Industry or Revenue Assurance; applicable skills from other sectors are also valued.
- Understanding of the operational elements of the energy industry, preferably with back-office delivery experience.
- Experience in managing complex technical deliveries across both onshore and offshore teams.
- Strong decision-making skills, with the ability to drive changes to meet objectives.
- Proven track record of building productive relationships with various internal and external stakeholders, influencing at all levels.
- Experience in managing, motivating, and developing a high-performing team.
- Experience in managing both onshore and offshore resources for cost and quality optimization, including future strategy and relationship management.
