Hygiene Shift ManagerMy client, a successful food manufacturer based in the East Midlands area are seeking an experienced Hygiene Manager/ Supervisor, due to the continued expansion within the business.You will lead Hygiene teams and ensure that the hygiene function operates smoothly on site.Daily Tasks and Responsibilities

• Training of the hygiene staff
• Drive efficiencies and continuous improvement
• Responsible for Audit schedule
• Dealing with chemical and product suppliers
• A keen interest in the ordering of new equipment, to establish how the hygiene team would be able to operate
• Co-ordinate machinery strip down and deep cleaning
• Budgetary responsibility

Skills and Experience

• Level 3 Food Safety and Health & Safety
• High Risk/ High Care experience
• Working with Major Retailers
• Hygiene Leadership with a proven successful track record
• Experience conducting internal and third party audits
• Managing a team and setting and reporting KPI's
• Food manufacturing experience is essential
• Ability to disassemble and reassemble machinery
• Strong communication and organisation skills
