Quality Control InspectorWest MidlandsHours: 40 per week + overtime when needed Salary: Dependent on experience (reviewed after 3-month probation)
£15.50ph / £32k per annum

What You'll Be Doing: You'll be hands-on, working across the quality team to inspect products at every stage of the process:

Inspect incoming stock and goods from subcontract suppliers

Perform first-off, patrol, and final inspections on machined items

Conduct final inspections before goods are dispatched to customers

Carry out hardness testing and assist with calibration system maintenance

Support other members of the Quality Department as needed

Follow all health & safety guidelines and wear PPE when required
Essential Skills & Experience:

Experience using thread gauges, micrometres, thread micrometres, and shadowgraph

Solid understanding of inspection techniques and maintaining quality records

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and international standards (can be trained)

Good level of education and computer skills
