Band 6 WTE Secondment/Fixed Term Contract until Sept 2028 NHS Scotland Academy (NHS Golden Jubilee) About NHS Scotland Academy The NHS Scotland Academy (NHSSA) is a partnership between NHS Golden Jubilee and Public Services Delivery Scotland (PSDS), funded by the Scottish Government, to deliver accelerated training for a wide range of health and social care roles and professions. NHSSA offers training programmes linked to workforce need, recruitment and career progression. It supports NHS Scotland to develop additional capacity and capability and responds to evolving workforce requirements, helping to ensure the health and social care workforce is prepared for future needs in Scotland. The Job Role We are seeking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic individual with an interest and enthusiasm in clinical education and workforce development to join the NHSSA team as an Assistant Clinical Educator within perioperative practice (Band 6). This post is offered on a fixed-term or secondment basis for a period of two years, until September 2028. The successful candidate will support learners undertaking NHSSA National Perioperative Programmes, helping to ensure delivery of a high-quality learning experience. Working as part of the NHS Scotland Academy team, the post holder will contribute to the development and delivery of these programmes. The post will be primarily based within NHS Golden Jubilee, with occasional travel to other locations as required. NHS Golden Jubilee is open to considering flexible working options for this role.
