About The Role
Optimus Plus are now looking for an experienced Principal Instrument Engineer to join our Engineering Team on a full-time on-going contract (PAYE) basis. This role can be based in our Aberdeen or Glasgow office on a flexibly hybrid working model where 2 days per week can be worked remotely.

Key duties:
- Identify the scope of work required
- Input to project plans
- Identify areas of concern during any project or study
- Produce cost- effective engineering solutions that are fit for purpose, safe and add value
- Ability to address operational and maintenance issues in the design and liaise with colleagues for the best solution#
- Exercise technical authority and autonomy in all engineering activities
About You
Our ideal candidate will enjoy team working, will be customer and quality focused, can use their own initiative and will be responsive to our business and client needs.
We’d like you to have a degree in a relevant subject and significant previous experience in detail design with an understanding of other disciplines.
You need to have significant experience and an interest in working with AutoDesk products and have exposure to people management and development.
