Summary A full-time Scheme Support Officers in a short term Supported Accommodation scheme in Newport. You will be required to work on a rolling rota which includes days, evenings, sleep-ins (£62.64 each sleep), weekend and bank holiday availability. OverviewWho are Codi Group? About The Role This is a Scheme Support Officer role based in our Supported accommodation service, In2Change, Newport. We have a team of Lead Project Workers, Project Workers & Scheme Support Officers. Providing 24/7 Support to our diverse group of customers. Working in a team, you will provide support to a diverse range of people (18+). All are from various backgrounds, currently experiencing trauma and having complex needs. These can range from alcohol or substance misuse, mental health, anti-social behaviour. Through using a Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE) & working with external agencies, you will help provide deliver meaningful activities/workshops. Alongside providing housing related support to equip our customers with the knowledge, skills and tools that they need to be able to live independent lives. Your Day Will Consist Of

  • Engaging and interacting with the people we support
  • Supporting Project Workers in delivering workshops relating to tenancy management and health and wellbeing
  • Ensuring the building is secure including health & safety checks and maintaining an awareness of who is in the building
  • Dealing with challenging behaviours
  • Addressing any additional needs, the people we support might have

  • A strong initiative and ability to work alone as well as being a great team player
  • Ability to deal with conflicting and difficult situations

  • £24,531.00 FTE (£12.75 per hour)
  • Sleep-in rate: £62.64 per 8 hour shift
  • Pension Choices:

  • Defined Benefit (DB) 1/80th of final salary for every year of service.
