At Ready4Home, we’re on a mission to end homelessness by providing high-quality, person-centred housing support. We’re looking for a Supported Housing Officer to join our growing team and help individuals with vulnerabilities sustain their tenancies and work towards independent living.

📍 Locations available: Salford, Oldham, Preston, Chorley & South Ribble.🔑 Key Responsibilities

• Develop tailored tenancy sustainment plans with residents.
• Support clients in understanding tenancy agreements, budgeting, and accessing healthcare and benefits.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with safeguarding and health & safety policies.
• Liaise with external agencies to support recovery, education, and employment opportunities.
• Monitor rent/service charge payments and assist with housing benefit claims.
• Deliver workshops such as “Renting Ready” and “Passport to Independence.”
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to team meetings and training.

🧠 What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 1 year of experience in supported housing or working with vulnerable groups (e.g., prison leavers, substance misuse, challenging behaviour).
• Strong knowledge of housing legislation and benefits systems.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and IT skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full clean driving licence, access to a vehicle, and valid business insurance.
