📍 Location: Glasgow, United Kingdom 🏢 Hybrid working: 3 days in the office 📅 Contract: 12 months (PAYE engagement) 💷 Salary: £16-£19 per hour

About the Division - ISG Product Operations
ISG Product Operations sits at the heart of our Institutional Sales & Trading business. The division is split into two key areas:
- Trading Operations - supporting activity executed by our global sales and trading teams.
- Client Operations - delivering exceptional operational support for clients in Prime Brokerage, Listed Derivatives, and OTC Clearing.
The organisation partners closely with Sales, Trading, and other internal teams to deliver new products and services, reduce risk, improve efficiency, and ensure seamless client experiences.
The Role - Operations Associate
This opportunity sits within Client Operations - Derivatives Clearing Client Service Group. You will act as a trusted relationship manager for a portfolio of clients, ensuring their settlements, margins, and accounts are accurate, while providing a first-class service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a single point of contact for daily client queries.
- Ensure accuracy of Listed Derivatives and OTC Clearing settlement figures.
- Resolve trade breaks and monitor all cash activity.
- Manage risk around margins, expiries, and market events.
- Conduct client service reviews, prepare metrics, and track trends.
- Enhance automation and streamline manual processes to reduce risk.
- Support the implementation of the Enhanced Supervisory framework and fraud awareness initiatives.
- Deliver training, client demos, and clearing solutions.
- Contribute to a positive team culture, recognising and developing talent.
Essential Skills:
- Knowledge of Listed Derivatives and/or OTC Clearing.
- Strong client service experience in derivatives clearing.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
- A strong team player with a collaborative approach.
- Proven track record of improving processes and client outcomes.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with automation, lean management, or process improvement.
- Ability to mentor and support junior colleagues.
