Our client is on a mission to make energy cheaper and easier for people.
They are currently working on a mobile app designed for homeowners to easily control their heat pump. Using machine learning algorithms to continuously optimise the system’s performance, helping users cut their heating bills by up to 50%.
As Head of Operations, you'll be the operational backbone of the company - owning everything from customer onboarding and support to finance and internal processes. You'll design and implement the systems that drive day-to-day excellence, run key functions hands-on in the early stages, and scale the team and tooling as the company grows.
Your responsibilities
- Own and upgrade existing processes / systems for customer onboarding.
- Review and automate our current approach to customer support and reduce the number of queries.
- Work besides both the commercial and tech team. This includes ensuring customer queries and feature requests make it into the product roadmap.
- Set up internal reporting on key KPIs
- Take charge of the day-to-day finance operations including investor updates, billing, invoicing, VAT returns and annual returns
- Directly support the founders in the daily running of the company
