Role Description Working closely with the Tax Partners and Directors you will be responsible for managing and supervising members of the corporate tax team to deliver a world class corporate tax compliance service to clients. Key objectives of the role are as follows:

  • Managing the corporation tax compliance function in our Manchester and Leeds offices, which is a specialist CT function that advises the firm complex clients, such as large groups, higher risk clients and key strategic relationships.
  • Identifying and delivering advisory project work, including as a result of corporation tax compliance work.
  • Supervising & supporting the development of junior members of the corporate tax team including carrying out regular performance reviews and ensuring they are on track with their studies.
  • Working closely with the wider tax teams to ensure clients receive a holistic service from the tax department as a whole.
  • Working closely with other departments across Sedulo to ensure clients receive a world class financial advisory service.

Qualifications

  • Qualified CTA / ACA / ACCA with a minimum of one year of post qualification experience in a private practice Corporate Tax environment.
  • Technically strong with a passion for knowledge and the ability to think creatively.
  • Proven ability to deliver advisory projects and experience identifying opportunities to undertake advisory work for existing compliance clients and introduce other service lines where appropriate.
  • Confident in dealing with clients at all levels, great communicating skills with clients over the phone or face to face.
  • Strong written communication skills to write reports when required.
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Organised and efficient.
  • Commercial outlook with an appetite to take on new challenges.
