Swansea Women’s Aid (SWA) offers dynamic, innovative services to women and children experiencing violence against women, domestic abuse and sexual violence (VAWDASV). Supported Housing Support Worker Salary: £24,369Location: SwanseaHours: 35 hours per week Swansea Women’s Aid are recruiting a Supported Housing Support Worker. Main Purposes Of The Role Deliver an appropriate support and information service, responding to the emotional and practical needs of women and children accessing SWA projects, working within the SWA and Supporting People Framework. To assist and facilitate women using the service to make informed decisions and positive changes to their lives, to minimise risk of homelessness and enhance their future. To use the self-help principle to encourage independence and empower the service user to succeed on all levels. All SWA Workers are expected to participate in the 24-hour on call provision on a rota basisUnder the Equality Act 2010 pursuant to Schedule 9, Part 1, this is a woman only post.
