TAIT’s 20 global offices have developed iconic productions and experiences in over 30 countries, all seven continents, and even outer space for renowned performers, theme parks, exhibits, and venues across the globe, including partnerships with Taylor Swift, Cirque Du Soleil, Royal Opera House, Nike, NASA, Bloomberg, Google, Beyoncé, and The Olympics Position Purpose The Buyer III leads sourcing efforts for indirect and service categories, including contract negotiation and supplier performance management. This role is responsible for developing category strategies, driving cost savings, and supporting cross-functional initiatives. Responsibilities

  • Lead sourcing and negotiation for services, logistics, and indirect categories.
  • Develop and execute category strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Manage supplier relationships, including performance reviews and issue resolution.
  • Analyze spend data and market trends to inform sourcing decisions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and contract terms.
  • Lead cross-functional sourcing teams for key service categories (e.g., facilities, IT, logistics).
  • Develop and manage supplier scorecards and performance improvement plans.
  • Conduct total cost of ownership (TCO) and should-cost analyses.
  • Support contract lifecycle management, including renewals and amendments.
  • Evaluate supplier risk and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with Legal and Risk teams to ensure contract compliance and risk management.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree or certification (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is advantageous.
  • Significant strategic procurement experience.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Experience with supplier relationship management and contract development.
